Job Description
The Epic Programmer (Bridges) is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining technical solutions that support Epic and integrated systems across Med Center Health. This role builds and maintains interfaces, custom scripts, data extracts, and reporting solutions that ensure seamless data flow between Epic and third-party applications. The Epic Programmer works closely with Epic Application Analysts, other IT teams, and operational stakeholders to translate business and workflow requirements into efficient, reliable, and secure technical solutions. The position requires strong programming skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic healthcare technology environment. Minimum Qualifications Previous experience in programming, system integration, software development, or healthcare IT required. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Epic training and certification in Bridges application required. Employees who are not certified at the time of hire or transfer must complete the designated Epic training and certification program(s) within the assigned timeframe for their role and/or assigned application(s). Certification exams must be successfully completed within three attempts. Training and certification expenses are provided by Med Center Health in exchange for a work commitment.
