Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Programmer for a full-time direct hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys building scalable software solutions while mentoring developers and helping shape development standards. The Lead Programmer will guide software development initiatives, support a collaborative programming team, and contribute directly to application design, architecture, testing, deployment, and performance optimization.   • Lead, mentor, and support a team of software developers through daily development activities and project execution.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications that support business needs and long-term scalability.
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, implementation, testing, release, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure adherence to quality, performance, security, and development best practices.
  • Recommend process improvements, emerging technologies, and development standards to improve team efficiency and software reliability. Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
