Temporary, part-time, non-exempt employment on a W-2.
Compensation:
$2500 to be paid in the week followingpletion of work.

Production Electrician Duties /
Responsibilities:
The 2026 production ofA Midsummer Night's Dream celebrates our 30th year of sharing Free Shakespeare productions with Greater Boston audiences. The LX Programmer/Board Op will assist the ME/PE in prepping the show at High Output in Canton, MA as well as supervising crew during load in at the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre in Boston. Once into tech, the Programmer/Board Op will transition into supporting the lead programmer by running the board during tech, previews and run of the show.
Responsibilities include:
Programming moving and conventional lighting equipment Assist the Master/Production Electrician during prep and load-in/out, including hang and focus Run the console during technical rehearsals and performances Be onsite for all technical rehearsals and performances Perform other duties as assigned by
Master Electrician Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Education, training, and/or experience in theatre at a Bachelor's degree or equivalent level 3+ years experience as a programmer, ETC EOS preferable Excellentanizational and time management skills Experience in managing large crews Strong leadership andmunication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Personal vehicle a plus
Onsite Job Requirements:
Attend prep, load in, and all technical rehearsals Ability to lift and carry 50lbs Ability to navigate stairs and uneven terrain Ability to navigate in variable high/low light settings in outdoor conditions Ability to utilize auditorymunication systems Working at height (e.g. in boom lift, from spot seat, or on truss) 18+ years of age Harness trained Genie lift trained Experience with and ability to meet all duties and responsibilities as listed above Candidates with parallel experience such as Production work for film/tv/music will be considered and should be encouraged to
