We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, aerospace components, and precision manufacturing processes. This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining programs used in the production of high-quality aerospace parts while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for aerospace components Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis machines) Ensure all programs meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100) Perform program simulations and test runs to validate accuracy and efficiency Maintain documentation for programs, processes, and revisions Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming within aerospace or precision manufacturing Proficiency with Mastercam software (required) Strong understanding of G-code and multi-axis machining Experience working with aerospace materials (aluminum, titanium, composites, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO standards Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
