Full Job Description Shift:
C-Shift — Friday, Saturday, Sunday (generally 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM). Work a 30-hour weekend (10-hour shifts) and get paid for 40! About the Role We're looking for a Laser Operator/Programmer to join our C-Shift team in Marne, MI. In this role, you'll program and operate our laser equipment to produce precision parts, working closely with our Engineering staff and Die Builders to keep jobs on schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on programming and machine work, with training provided for candidates who don't yet have laser-specific experience. What You'll Do Program and operate both flat and 5-axis laser machines Set up and run manual machines and hand tools as needed Write laser programs and adjust as required for each job Read and interpret detail drawings and specifications Design and use appropriate fixturing to support production needs Use the network system to locate and manage program files Communicate with Engineering staff and Die Builders to establish job priorities Prioritize and manage workflow across jobs within the facility What We're Looking For Experience with laser programming/operation preferred; will train the right candidate Ability to read and interpret detail drawings Comfortable working with manual machines and hand tools Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple jobs Reliable and able to work the C-Shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, approximately 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (paid for a full 40-hour week while working a 30-hour weekend) What We Offer Competitive compensation based on skills Eight paid holidays Life insurance Disability insurance Dental insurance Medical insurance Vacation 401(k)/Profit Sharing Flexible Spending Account Annual performance and wage review Uniform shirts provided Direct deposit available This is a long-term position that offers excellent benefits and competitive pay.
