Director of IT The Jr. Analyst/Programmer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom software solutions, under the direction of senior development team members and management.
Essential Functions:
Maintains and supports multiple systems including, but not limited to: ERP's, e-commerce websites, and databases. Develops solutions in accordance with senior development team members and/or management instructions. Ability to identify appropriate team resources needed to implement solutions Demonstrates initiative and works independently as needed to accomplish responsibilities. Acts as an escalation point for support teams during outages or degraded system performance. Evaluate business processes and meet with non-technical department resources to make recommendations resulting in positive company-wide impact. Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent field, or an associate's in information technology with 2 (two) or more years of related experience, or 5 (five) or more years of experience in a software related role. Experience working with Microsoft SQL server: querying, stored procedures, index creation/maintenance Familiar with object-oriented programming languages (C#, X++ or related) and an understanding of software development life cycles Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with clients, senior management, sales reps, etc. Intellectually curious. Ability to think beyond the basic confines of the role, review data, analyze user and customer needs, and present solutions based on these observations.
