$42/hr to $53/hr Job description Swiss CNC Programmer / MachinistDESCRIPTION
Programming:
Create and optimize Swiss programs using PartMaker, MasterCAM or ESPRIT / Hexagon to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely production of parts.Setup and Operation:
Perform setups and operate CNC Swiss machines (Citizen) to produce components according to specifications.Quality Control:
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet tight tolerances and customer specifications.Training:
Train and mentor Swiss CNC operators, providing guidance on machine setup, programming, and maintenanceTroubleshooting:
Identify and resolve machining issues, tool wear, or programming challenges to maintain high-quality standards.On Time Delivery:
Work closely with team members and Design Engineers to improve processes, reduce waste, and meet production deadlines.Maintenance:
Conduct routine machine maintenance to ensure reliability and longevity of equipment.REQUIRED
Must be located in greater Twin Cities area, no relocation funds available for this role Self-Starter with the ability to work independently / with a team to plan, schedule and execute activities necessary to meet project timelines. Accomplished Swiss CNC programming skills, with proficiency with MasterCAM, PartMaker, or ESPRIT Skilled mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes with multi-axis Swiss machines (CitizenL12, L20, L220, M32, K16
preferred) Understanding of engineering drawings Ability to work within a regulated industry environment and with a track record of accomplishments Effective communication skills required due to support of cross functional projects within a team Can work independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet timelines Understanding of cGMP and/orISO 13485
is a plus Participates in team activity focusing on continuous improvement initiatives. Performs other functions as required.Job Type:
