Join our team as an SMT Operator and Programmer. Take the lead in running and programming our Micronic MyData pick‑and‑place machines—the core of our production line. You will be responsible for loading jobs, optimizing programs, adjusting for component changes, and keeping the equipment performing at its best. To support our high-quality standards, you will read BOMs and assembly drawings, identify components, and handle your own soldering and touch‑up work. Responsibilities:
Set up, program and operate Mycronic MyData machines and other SMT equipment, including reflow ovens and screen printers Build surface‑mount assemblies using both automated and manual manufacturing methods Perform hand stenciling of PCBs as needed Monitor, maintain, and perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance on SMT equipment to meet company standards Apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the electronics manufacturing field Follow instructions and established guidelines to complete assigned tasks Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and comply with 6S practices Perform additional duties as required
Key Skills:
Skilled in programming and operating Micronic MyData equipment for SMT builds.
IPC-A-610
certification preferred. Ability to perform touch-up and rework on electronic assemblies Attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to follow instructions and standardized procedures Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Qualification:
Minimum four years of electronics manufacturing or SMT assembly experience preferred Proficiency in programming and operating Micronic MyData pick‑and‑place machines is required Experience operating AOI equipment Ability to accurately identify electronic components and package types Ability to read and interpret assembly diagrams, BOMs, drawings, and work aids Skilled in soldering and performing touch‑up work; IPC‑610 certification preferred Ability to perform minor program adjustments or part modifications (e.g., package types, component values) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and documentation Ability to work effectively under immediate supervision Self-starter able to work independently or as a team, in an ever-changing mix of products and requirements Knowledge of procedures, processes and quality requirements for MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, and
AS9100/ISO 9001
Must be a US citizen and must understand and agree to comply with Technology Control Plan for ITAR and CMMC compliance
