Bear Metal Works is currently seeking a Laser Programmer to oversee the execution and management of custom metal fabrication projects. Laser Programmer Responsibilities and Requirements include:

• Utilizes Work Orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
• Program and maintain current file revisions of all client part.
• Interpret engineering blueprints to draw (program) flat pattern layouts of parts using CAD/CAM software.
• Prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set-up sheets.
• Maintains the Laser equipment and reports any maintenance issues
• Consults with management to resolve manufacturing or assembly problems.
• Willingness to actively participate in all aspects of production when and where needed
• Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to.
