Job Description

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a talented professional to conceptualize and implement state-of-the-art software solutions tailored for our dynamic production environment. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiencies, managing data workflows, and ensuring seamless system integrations to drive business success.
Responsibilities:
Architect, code, test, and sustain bespoke software applications to elevate manufacturing performance. Oversee and fine-tune Microsoft SQL Server databases (2005 and later versions). Develop and amalgamate applications using robust technologies such as Visual Basic, C#, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, .NET, ASP.NET, and HTML. Interface with industrial controllers via PLC ladder logic, facilitating optimal machine interactions. Design data interfaces and ensure seamless integration with
ERP/MIS/SCADA
systems, guaranteeing precise data flow. Create user-centric interfaces, insightful dashboards, and comprehensive reports to back strategic and operational decisions. Promptly address and resolve software issues with effective solutions rooted in thorough cause analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective, scalable technical solutions. Implement best practices in version control, documentation, and development methodologies to ensure sustainability. Act as a point of support during production challenges and collaborate cross-functionally with IT and shop floor teams. Uphold data security and maintain compliance with established protocols and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Over eight years of software development experience. Proficiency in managing databases with Microsoft SQL Server. Expertise in Visual Basic, C#, JavaScript, SQL, PHP, .NET, ASP.NET, and HTML. Hands-on experience with PLC ladder logic for industrial systems. Superior problem-solving skills with a knack for prioritizing vital tasks in a high-energy environment. Preferably experienced within manufacturing or industrial sectors. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional expertise.
