Job Overview As a Mazak 2 Axis Mill Programmer, you'll program and set up CNC (computer numerical control) milling machines to produce precise metal components, tolerances.005-.005. You'll use engineering drawings, Mazatrol software, and sound machining judgment to prepare reliable programs and verify finished parts. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and supporting consistent manufacturing quality. Responsibilities Create, edit, and verify CNC programs for Mazak two-axis milling operations. Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and verify dimensional accuracy. Select CNC tooling, set up machines, establish tool offsets, and adjust programs to meet part specifications. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments; document quality results.

Experience Experience with Mazatrol programming, CNC machining, metal machining, CNC milling machines, machining tool setup, and tooling is relevant to this role. Bring mechanical knowledge, geometry and math skills, blueprint reading, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and measurement (quality control) experience.
