Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Pay:
$30-40/hour
DOE Key Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for plasma cutting tables using CAD/CAM software. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to develop accurate cutting programs. Nest parts efficiently to maximize material utilization and minimize waste. Collaborate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to ensure program accuracy and feasibility. Set up and troubleshoot plasma table operations, making adjustments as needed. Verify program output through simulation and test runs to ensure quality and precision. Maintain and organize program files, documentation, and revision history. Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Assist operators with technical support and problem-solving on the shop floor. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in machining, programming, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in CNC programming, preferably with plasma cutting systems. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as AutoCAD, SigmaNEST, or similar). Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with nesting software and material optimization strategies. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
