Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a Skilled CNC Lathe Operator with experience in setups, operation, and inspection of precision parts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and capable of working with tight tolerances on short-run and production jobs. Experience with lathes featuring live tooling, bar feeders, or sub-spindles is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes (including live tooling, bar feeders, and sub-spindles). Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements. Program, adjust, and optimize machine settings to produce precision parts. Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Preferred:
Ability to take a part from print to production.
Minimum:
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced machining skills. Experience with CNC lathes (multi-axis, live tooling, sub-spindle) strongly preferred. Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CNC programming is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Schedule/Compensation 4x10 (4-day work week) Monday Thursday, 5:30 AM 4:00 PM Day shift only No weekends Competitive pay based on experience.
