Computer Programmer Intern Milton, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22545435 Summary Milton, PA Hybrid $14.00 - $14.00 per Hour 0 Months Experience Post-secondary education, no degree or certificate No Commission 29.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Internship / Hours May Vary Description Computer Programmer Intern Milton, PA This paid Internship where the successful intern candidate will complete an internship with the anticipated start date is mid-June 2026 and lasting approximately 80 working days. The intern will work with experienced programmers to gain knowledge and experience in entry-level programming and testing. This is a temporary position with no guarantee of permanent employment at the end of the internship.

Required internship activities:

Develop new or modify existing code for primarily entry-level tasks. Test and debug code to ensure it matches the outlined business requirements. Mentors with more senior level developers for code review, proper coding standards, desired development approaches, and security protocols. Understands and can use source control for checking in programming changes. Performs other duties as assigned by the Software Development Manager or assigned mentor / designee.

Hourly Rate:

$14.00 hour as a part time temporary position working from five (5) to 29 hours per week.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) and current enrollment in a post-secondary education program leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a computer related course of study. Must show completion of a minimum of twelve (12) credits earned in computer science course work. Adept at using Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel), artificial intelligence, as well as using virtual meeting platforms, such as Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams. Requires complex problem-solving skills to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Requires self-starting skills as well as being detail oriented. Excellent organization and time management skills to coordinate and prioritize the tasks based on project deadlines as several projects can be assigned simultaneously. Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with non-technical team members and/or clients. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
