Bid number:59133-2 Job nature: On-going Administrative, System, Technical and database support of computer systems in Customs & Excise Department (C&ED) Job description: The Contract Analyst Programmer (CAP) is responsible for production support activities such as, but not exhaustive:

• To provide infrastructure support services including servers, SAN storage, database and IT security including answer hotline enquiry, perform trouble shooting and recover the system when incidents occurred;
• To provide maintenance support including implementation and upgrades of both hardware and software assets;
• To perform researches, develops and recommends policy guidelines and/or procedures;
• To prepare system documentation; and
• To perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement details:

The candidate is required to possess the necessary skills for provision of above mentioned job duties. The candidate must have at least three years working experience in virtualization server technology, SAN storage, Linux and MS Windows Server with at least two years must be in similar post or in comparable capacity; The candidate is required to work outside normal office hours and provide 7 x 24 on-call production supports; The candidate may require to work at C&ED remote offices scattered over the territory such as control points for support; Strong commitment to the project deadline, deliver high-quality work, and able to adjust work priorities; Integrity record check for the candidate is required and the candidate shall be requested to sign a consent during the recruitment interview; and The candidate shall comply with all government-wide and C&ED departmental circulars for staff administration and code of conduct.

Essential skills:

At least 3 years of LIN Linux System Administration experience At least 3 years of SAN Storage Area Network experience At least 3 years of SVT Server Virtualisation Technology experience At least 3 years of W12 Windows Server 2008/2012 experience At least 3 years of MWE Moderate Exposure in Written English experience The following skills are not necessary but are appreciated: At least 2 years of

IAA IBM AIX

Administration experience At least 2 years of JAS JBoss Application Server experience At least 2 years of MSS Microsoft SQL Server experience At least 2 years of ODB Oracle RDBMS experience At least 2 years of GOV Work experience with/in the Government experience At least 2 years of ITA IT Audit experience At least 2 years of VMG Vendor Management experience
