Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Epicor Application Studio/C# Programmer to join our IT Department. As an Epicor Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Epicor solutions to support and enhance our overall business operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineers, business analysts, and IT professionals, to analyze requirements, design efficient solutions, and ensure successful implementation. Primary Responsibilities Develop/Maintain Customizations using Epicor Application Studio Develop/Maintain BAQs Develop/Maintain BPMs Develop/Maintain SSRS reports Knowledge of EKW (Epicor Kinetic Warehouse) Understanding of printing with Kinetic (edge agents) Collaborate with end users, business analysts, and the IT team to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Epicor programming Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of Epicor modules Work closely with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity Conduct regular system maintenance, including data cleanup, system performance tuning, and application upgrades Provide technical expertise and guidance to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of Epicor functionalities and features Collaborate with the IT team on database management, security, and system integration activities Stay updated with the latest Epicor releases, tools, and technologies, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to improve system functionality and performance Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or 5+ years in system programming Strong experience in programming and customizing Epicor Application Studio for Kinetic version Proficient in programming languages such as C#, .NET, and SQL Solid understanding of product engineering processes, including bills of materials (BOMs), engineering change management, and product lifecycle management (PLM) In-depth knowledge of Epicor ERP modules, including Manufacturing Experience with Epicor customization tools, such as EDI and Order Entry, BPM (Business Process Management), BAQ (Business Activity Query), and Application Studio Ability to analyze complex business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and develop efficient solutions within the Epicor ERP system Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system issues Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Epicor certification(s) in development or administration Experience with Epicor Kinetic platform and REST APIs Knowledge of manufacturing industry standards and best practices
