Job Description
The mission of the Bureau of Environmental Disease Prevention is to prevent environmental disease in homes, communities, and the workplace, and to protect health by promoting healthy environments and health equity. The Bureau is comprised of four programs Healthy Homes (HHP), Environmental Exposure Assessment and Education (EEAE), Poison Control Center (PCC), and the Office of Environmental Investigations (OEI). The position with report to the Deputy Director of MIS within the Healthy Homes Program and will help us maintain the connectivity with the immunization program, birth certificates and other agencies to provide a comprehensive way of preventing and treating lead poisoning. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Create application programing interfaces (APIs) using web technologies to integrate with agency applications and shared services
- Create database stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers application in MS SQL e relational databases
- Utilize secured software methodologies to develop and maintain software security compliance and prepare project plans detailing the necessary tasks and schedules
- Provide the status of assigned projects on written reports or at meetings and develop technical reports for users that provide an overview description of the proposed computer system.
