Job Description

HTI is hiring a Robotics Programmer for a growing manufacturing company in the Greenville, SC area. This is a hands-on opportunity for a skilled robotics professional who enjoys programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic welding systems in a fast-paced production environment. If you have experience programming industrial robots, understand welding processes, and enjoy solving technical challenges, this could be the next step in your career. What You'll Do Program, modify, and optimize ABB robotic welding systems Develop new robot programs and adjust existing programs based on production requirements Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to create accurate robotic weld programs Set up fixtures and tooling for various production parts Troubleshoot robotic welding processes and program-related issues Monitor robot performance and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency Support production teams by ensuring robotic systems operate reliably and effectively Perform weld rework when necessary to meet quality standards Assist with loading and unloading robotic welding cells as needed Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support manufacturing goals What You Need Minimum 3 years of robotics programming experience Experience programming industrial robots in a manufacturing environment ABB robot programming experience strongly preferred MIG welding experience required Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols Understanding of welding fixtures, tooling, and fabrication processes Experience troubleshooting robotic systems and welding applications Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments Associate degree, technical certification, Mechatronics degree, or equivalent work experience preferred Strong problem-solving and communication skills Schedule 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overtime opportunities available as business demands require Work Environment Manufacturing and fabrication environment Robotic welding and automation-focused operation Hands-on role supporting production and process improvement Opportunity to work with advanced automation technology and robotic welding systems Why This Opportunity Stands Out High-impact role supporting a growing automation operation Opportunity to program, troubleshoot, and improve robotic welding systems Mix of programming, welding, and process optimization responsibilities Work with ABB robotic technology Stable manufacturing company with long-term growth opportunities Collaborative team environment where technical expertise is valued Hiring Process One onsite interview Technical discussion with the hiring team Facility walkthrough Weld test administered during the interview process Candidates should plan to bring their own welding hood for testing HTI is proud to partner with this established manufacturer to identify skilled Robotics Programmers who are ready to contribute to a growing automation and robotic welding operation.
