(BACE), a division of Komar Industries, is a market leader in industrial waste and recycling processing solutions. The company manufactures and services balers, compactors, and provides parts and resources to customers. BACE is seeking a Robotic Technician/Programmer to join our team. We are seeking a skilled Welder Robotic Technician / Programmer to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic welding and automated manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience programming industrial robots, diagnose automation issues, and improve production efficiency in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring robotic equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities Program, teach, and troubleshoot industrial robots used in manufacturing operations. Modify and optimize robot programs to improve cycle times, quality, and productivity. Support robotic welding cells, automated assembly equipment, and material handling systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic and automated equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues. Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve manufacturing issues. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled automation systems and machine interfaces. Install, test, and commission new robotic equipment and automation systems. Maintain backup copies of robot and PLC programs. Analyze robotic performance data and recommend process improvements. Ensure all robotic systems comply with safety regulations and company standards. Document repairs, modifications, maintenance activities, and programming changes. Train operators and maintenance personnel on robotic system operation and troubleshooting. Qualifications High School Diploma or technical certification in Robotics, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting industrial robots in a manufacturing environment. Experience with robotic welding applications preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Strong understanding of automation systems, sensors, servos, and motion control. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming concepts. Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Required Experience Experience with one or more of the following: FANUC Robots ABB Robots Required Yaskawa Motoman Robots KUKA Robots PLC platforms such as: Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley Siemens PLCs HMI development and troubleshooting Vision systems and robotic integration MIG welding automation and robotic weld cell programming Required LP123
