This position will be responsible for creating and optimizing programs and nests for laser, plasma, and waterjet cutting equipment . The ideal candidate will have experience with Sigma

programming , technical drawings, and material nesting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and modify 2D CAD drawings for production. Program CNC laser, plasma, and waterjet cutting equipment. Create and optimize nests using SigmaNEST . Combine multiple orders into nests to maximize material utilization. Review customer engineering drawings and production requirements. Read and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and geometric callouts. Troubleshoot programming and nesting issues. Work with production and scheduling to meet job requirements and lead times.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in CAD/CAM programming for CNC cutting equipment . Experience with SigmaNEST strongly preferred . Experience programming laser, plasma, or waterjet equipment. Strong understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and geometric callouts. Experience creating or modifying 2D CAD drawings. Ability to optimize nests and reduce material waste. Ability to troubleshoot programming issues and work with production.

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
