The Programmer I supports the development and testing of PLC and HMI programs under direct supervision. This entry level role focuses on basic programming, documentation, troubleshooting, and commissioning support while developing foundational programming skills.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and edit simple PLC and HMI logic blocks under supervision. Assist with testing, simulation, and validation of control programs in-house and in the field. Update documentation, tag databases, I/O lists, and revision logs. Support system commissioning by monitoring program behavior and performing controlled adjustments. Troubleshoot basic automation issues with guidance from senior programmers. Review wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control schematics to support programming tasks. Follow established coding standards, quality guidelines, and version control processes.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Entry-level role responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and modification of PLC, HMI, and automation control programs under direct supervision. Support engineering and field service teams by performing basic programming tasks, documentation updates, and controlled troubleshooting activities.
