Job Description

SUMMER INTERNSHIP
Daikin offers a well-established 11-week summer internship program where students contribute to meaningful projects. We emphasize a culture of mentorship, training, and collaboration, encouraging interns to ask questions, challenge ideas, and think creatively. Interns gain valuable hands-on experience in a thriving industry with strong opportunities for growth and development. During the internship, college students will: Work on an individual project with your direct team Work with other interns on a group project Network across functions and teams Participate in social and team building activities

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Programmer Analyst works as an integral member of IT Applications team that provide support to business units making important individual and team contributions. It is important for the Programmer Analyst to have strong analytical skills to be able to independently analyze and solve medium to complex level tasks. Additionally, the Programmer Analyst needs to quickly gain the knowledge in functional areas and business processes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Use relational database and programming skills to develop/maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs and analyzing requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
  • Build new interfaces/data transfer processes or enhance/optimize the existing ones focusing on data security/encryption and accuracy
  • Quickly respond to support tickets assigned by mentor according to company procedures/policies Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
