Fort Belvoir, VA (5 Days Onsite)
Contract Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, configuration management, and software license procurement within a DoD environment. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of our hardware and software asset data, streamlining procurement processes, and providing expert analysis to support our C5ISR systems. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to identify and resolve data anomalies.
Key Responsibilities:
Software and Hardware Asset Management:
Assist with capturing software license requirements for annual procurement. Collaborate with Program Managers (PMs) to streamline the documentation and tracking of hardware and software assets and matrix support. Assist in developing and maintaining configuration management and support agreement databases, ensuring data integrity.
Configuration Management Engineering:
Provide configuration management engineering in multiple CS component areas for C5ISR systems. Participate in Configuration Control Boards and other relevant forums.
Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
Apply data analysis skills to identify opportunities for improving data structures and integration processes. Scrutinize data sets; identify and evaluate data anomalies, missing data, and inconsistencies to complete data refinement. Develop business process workflows and implement a comprehensive roadmap outlining the evolution and enhancement of configuration management capabilities.
Workflow Automation:
Assist with workflow automation within ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Business, or Computer Science and 5 years of experience performing similar duties in a DoD environment. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Mid to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and other data analysis features to manipulate and summarize data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. The ability to work independently and take initiative.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience with Enterprise License Agreements (ELA) / Enterprise Software Agreements (ESA). In-depth knowledge of software licensing models (e.g., core, CPU, enterprise). Experience with accounting, maintenance, and budget processes. Familiarity with Army Enterprise Software Management Program (AESMP). Experience as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). A technical understanding of how to calculate software requirements.
