CNC PROGRAMMER / CAD
Modeler The CNC Programmer role is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all CNC machining and programming operations. This role is tasked with working in close concert with machinist, leads, engineering teams, and operations management to increase productivity and optimizing machining programs and procedures. CAD models must be produced accurately from 2D prints and other technical data. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with complex surfacing, contours, with aluminum, stainless steels, and titanium.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Use of
NX CAD/CAM
program to program CNC parts. Able to accurately and timely produce aerospace 3D models from 2D dimensioned prints Use Vericut to validate NC programs. Maintain revision control on programs and setup sheets. Knowledge of carbide tools and adjusting speed and feed parameters for maximum tool life. Generate programs/models for machine fixture tooling. Meets expectations for productivity and production goals. Constantly keeping products/projects moving. Provides consistent ideas for process improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency certificate. 5+ years of CNC programming experience using NX or MasterCam software. 5+ years of experience generating 3D CAD models from 2D prints.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Familiar with Heidenhain, Fanuc and Haas controls Comfortable programming 5-axis Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package. You may also accrue 2 weeks of paid vacation and will be eligible for paid holidays.
