machine operator experience Full Job Description At Owens Industries, we don't measure success by how many parts come off the line; we measure it by the micron. We aren't a production shop—we are a destination for machinists who are tired of "close enough" being the standard. If you are looking for a place to mindlessly run cycles, this isn't it. If you are a craftsman who finds satisfaction in the friction of holding sub-micron tolerances on exotic materials for aerospace and defense systems, you've found the right shop. Our clean, climate‑controlled facility is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art machining technology , and our team is made up of long‑tenured, highly skilled professionals who take pride in solving complex manufacturing challenges. Position Summary The Wire EDM Operator / Programmer is responsible for producing sub‑micron‑tolerance components using advanced EDM machining systems. You are the architect of your process—from programming and setup to final inspection. You will be working with world-class Agie-Charmilles technology, tackling geometry that would stump most shops.
