First Southern Bank is looking for an IT Specialist I to join our team! Under the guidance and direction of the IT Manager, the IT Specialist will respond to end-user requests for support, install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, software, and computer peripheral.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Help-desk user support trouble shooting reported issues and providing solutions for PCs, windows operating systems, printers, and peripherals. Help-desk user support trouble shooting reported issues and providing solutions for banking software and applications. Setup, configure, and install workstation hardware, software, and peripherals for end-users. Setup and manage user accounts in windows Active Directory and banking software and applications.
Network Cabling Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong technical knowledge for trouble shotting workstations hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software:
Windows 10, 11 and Office 365. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with associates who have limited technical knowledge Proven ability to prioritize competing demands Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
