Job Description
Talascend is currently seeking an IT Project Management Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Mobile, Alabama . Overview Support and drive governance, coordination, and execution of IT/OT projects in an industrial environment. Partner with project managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational standards. Responsibilities Support the governance and structure of IT/OT projects across multiple workstreams. Define and maintain PMO standards, processes, and documentation. Track and report on project progress, timelines, risks, and KPIs. Coordinate between IT, OT, and business teams to ensure alignment. Facilitate project planning, status meetings, and steering committees. Manage project documentation, including schedules, RAID logs, and reporting dashboards. Identify and escalate risks, issues, and resource constraints. Ensure compliance with corporate project management methodologies and best practices. Support continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a PMO or Project Coordination role within IT projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Proven experience in project tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Jira, or similar). Exposure to IT/OT environments (industrial systems, manufacturing, MES, etc.). Basic understanding of networking concepts or infrastructure (LAN/WAN, connectivity). Familiarity with industrial systems integration or automation. Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments. We thank all applicants for their interest.
