Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems. Your expertise will help maintain optimal performance, troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal users. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users across various departments, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, including applications like Microsoft Office and specialized enterprise tools Manage computer hardware components including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to ensure they operate smoothly Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and network security measures like Meraki devices Support IT infrastructure management through tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), Active Directory, and Windows Server environments Assist with computer management tasks such as software deployment, updates, patching, and inventory tracking using tools like BMC Remedy and ServiceNow Monitor network performance and security using analysis skills to identify potential issues before they impact operations Skills Strong technical support skills with a focus on troubleshooting hardware and software problems efficiently Expertise in computer networking concepts including
TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN
configuration, firewalls, VPNs, and network administration tools like Meraki Proficiency with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments Experience managing computer hardware components and peripherals for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, etc. Knowledge of IT support ticketing systems including ServiceNow and BMC Remedy for issue tracking and resolution management Familiarity with enterprise management tools such as SCCM for software deployment and updates; GPO for policy enforcement; Active Directory for user management Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach to assist users effectively Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and develop practical solutions in high-pressure situations Join us as an IT Technician to be at the heart of our technological operations! JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proven working experience as an IT technician or relevant experience Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems Experience in data center management and data governance Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Interior Work Areas
  • have moderate temperatures. Interior flooring may be carpeted, tile, and concrete. Auditorium floors are either stepped or sloped. Team members may encounter wet or slippery floor surfaces.
  • Exterior Work Areas
  • Moderate to extreme temperatures depending on weather conditions
