Full Job Description Overview:

JARS Cannabis is seeking a hands-on and tech-savvy Help Desk Technician to join our in-house IT team. This full-time, in-person position is based at our corporate office in PHX, AZ and provides frontline technical support to both our retail and corporate teams. If you're a strong communicator with solid troubleshooting skills and an interest in retail technology, this is a great opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, high-growth industry.

Responsibilities:

Respond to and resolve help desk tickets via Freshservice, providing technical support to end users. Troubleshoot and support a wide range of hardware and systems including POS terminals, scanners, printers, tablets, and laptops. Manage user access including password resets, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC). Remotely configure and maintain workstations, inventory stations, and print servers. Address basic network issues including connectivity problems, static IP configuration, and printer setup. Monitor network dashboards (e.g., Unifi) and escalate infrastructure issues when necessary. Follow IT security policies and assist with compliance requirements related to access and data integrity. Document ticket resolutions and contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and SOPs. Work alongside senior IT staff on escalated or complex support issues. Training Schedule (Temporary): Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM•5:00

PM Permanent Schedule:

Wednesday-Friday | 1:00 PM•10:00 PM Saturday-Sunday | 7:00 AM•4:00

PM Qualifications:

Foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and networking basics. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented mindset. Ability to effectively walk end users through problem-solving steps over the phone or chat. Experience using a help desk ticketing platform such as Freshservice preferred. Familiarity with retail technology and point-of-sale systems is a plus. Availability to work evenings and weekends based on the posted schedule.
