JOB SUMMARY IT
Help Desk Representative provides technical support and assistance to staff, ensuring efficient operation and utilization of our IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service.KCS COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or other customer support role. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Proficiency in Windows environments, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with network and security concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls. Reliable transportation. Must be able to lift/carry 20-50 pounds. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience with EHR systems and healthcare IT preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Log support calls, conducts the general diagnostic, and troubleshoots functions via phone, e-mail, and/or ticket system. Provide clear and concise guidance for KCS's hardware and software users. Communicate complex IT issues to higher-level specialists for resolution. Educate and guide staff on IT best practices, usage of systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Collaborate with the IT team to develop solutions for recurring problems and improve overall IT service delivery. Assist in the installation of PCs, printers, and other peripheral devices. Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Load operating systems and configure network settings for workstations. Analyze the failed equipment according to the established procedures and takes appropriate action. Assist in the maintenance of the security software. Maintain confidentiality of KCS's operations, physical assets, and intellectual property. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships. Stay current with new technologies and industry trends to provide informed support and recommendations.
