This role supports daily technology operations across Microsoft 365, computer hardware, network equipment, and end-user systems. Qualified applicants must be available to work the scheduled evening shift and occasional weekends as needed.
The Day-to-Day:
Manage Microsoft Entra ID user accounts and groups, Exchange Online mailboxes, and SharePoint site permissions. Assist senior IT administrators with technology purchases, system updates, backups, server maintenance, and technical troubleshooting. Follow established documentation and procedures to complete assignments accurately. Perform scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly duties, including validating backups and resolving helpdesk tickets. Support IT service rollouts, equipment decommissioning projects, and infrastructure changes. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network-connected printers, VoIP phones, managed switches, and related devices. Run Ethernet cabling from patch panels to wall mounts, workstations, and other network endpoints. Configure VPN client software and assist remote users with connectivity issues. Coordinate with Human Resources and department managers to complete employee onboarding and offboarding requirements. Diagnose software, hardware, account access, and network-related problems. Escalate complex technical issues to senior administrators when appropriate.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least two years of IT support experience in a Microsoft 365 environment. At least two years of experience troubleshooting Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. At least two years of experience diagnosing, upgrading, and replacing computer hardware components. At least one year of experience configuring devices for use on a TCP/IP network. At least one year of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 11. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to users with varying levels of computer knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures, including backup software, data restoration, and data protection best practices. Familiarity with PowerShell or Python for automating routine IT tasks. Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 services. Understanding of basic network infrastructure, Ethernet cabling, managed switches, VPN connections, and VoIP technology. Relevant IT certifications, such as Microsoft desktop support, Microsoft 365, CompTIA A+, Network+, or comparable credentials.

$26.00 to $31.00 per hour
