Job Description The IT Procurement Specialist owns the hands‑on execution of global IT procurement activities relating to hardware, software, and services while ensuring cost optimization, compliance, and strategic vendor relationships. This role also supports IT Asset Management (ITAM) with a strong focus on software lifecycle management, including renewals, negotiations, and process development. What you'll get to do: Global Procurement & Vendor Management Independently evaluate, source, negotiate, and purchase IT equipment, software, and services globally in accordance with company policies. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Prepare, negotiate and manage IT contracts, renewals, and pricing agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable terms. Play a key role in the creation and implementation of procurement processes across multiple regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards. Collaborate with finance and legal teams on contract reviews and budget alignment. Manage and lead RFx, obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors; discuss evaluations and review with requesters and subject matter experts. Monitor and track IT Procurement orders and deliveries. Collaborate with internal teams to determine IT needs and requirements. Manage tickets and requests through Jira IT Asset Management Assist in implementing ITAM policies, standards, and best practices. Support audits and reporting for IT assets and software compliance. Contribute to cost optimization by identifying unused or underutilized licenses through software user management. Process Development & Continuous Improvement Assist in creating internal intake processes for IT procurement Refine global procurement and ITAM workflows to improve efficiency and transparency. Document processes for software lifecycle management and renewals.
Qualifications Who you are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred 5+ years working in procurement, sourcing, IT Asset Management or a related field Preferred Skills Negotiation and relationship management Familiarity with ITIL and ITAM practices. Experience with global procurement processes. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Experience working in the APAC region
