We are a venture-funded medtech startup focusing on electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) technology—the most used heart test and the third most commonly ordered medical test globally. While conventional 12-lead ECGs must be performed by medical professionals in hospitals, QT Medical's flagship product, PCA 500 , is an FDA-cleared, hospital-grade 12-lead ECG system approved for both professional and patient use. PCA 500 is currently deployed across airlines, clinics, hospitals, CROs, schools, correctional facilities, and by patients at home.

Role Overview As a Customer and Technical Support Specialist , you will play a crucial role in supporting our pre-sales initiatives and ensuring overall customer success. In this dynamic, customer-facing position, you will demonstrate our revolutionary PCA 500 system to prospective clients, assist the sales team with technical questions, and serve as a technical brand ambassador at trade shows. You will act as a key contact point between prospective & existing customers, sales peers, product management, and our R D team to help convert leads, train users, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Technical Support:
Assist the sales team during pre-sales engagements by delivering product demonstrations and providing technical support for inquiries regarding QT Medical's ECG systems and its related service.
Trade Show & Event Representation:
Attend medical trade shows, conferences, and sales events to demonstrate our products live, engage prospective buyers, and help generate sales leads.
Customer Onboarding & Training:
Help new and prospective clients learn how to use company products, navigate the cloud dashboard and Apps, and resolve initial setup issues.
Field & On-Site Service:
Travel to client and prospect sites for on-site technical service, including demo installations, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Serve as a team resource, collaborating closely with Sales, R D, Product Management, Customer/Technical Support, and Finance to share user feedback and resolve issues.
Operations & Compliance:
Follow established communication procedures, company guidelines, and operational policies.
Order fulfillment:
Follow established procedures and standards to process and complete daily order fulfillment accurately and efficiently.
Other Duties:
Perform additional support, service, and administrative tasks as assigned by leadership.
Job QualificationsRequired Education:
Bachelor's Degree in any field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support, customer service, field support, or a related customer-facing role.
Communication & Language:
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with clear, professional communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient, and proactive attitude when interacting with prospective clients and internal teams.
Technical Proficiency:
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new hardware and software tools. Familiar with smartphones, tablets, and cloud-based management systems. Hands-on familiarity with iOS, Android and Windows operating systems.
Travel & Events:
Willingness and ability to travel across the U.S. for trade shows, product demos, and field visits.
Mindset:
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, results-driven, and excited about starting or building a career in the medtech industry. Preferred Experience working in customer support, technical assistance, or sales support in the medical device / healthcare field. Experience presenting, demonstrating products, or interacting with crowds at trade shows, events, or customer workshops.
