In this role, you will be the frontline technical expert responsible for providing exceptional support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Your energetic approach will ensure seamless operation of desktop environments, enhance user productivity, and maintain our IT infrastructure's integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide prompt and effective technical support for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals across the organization. Troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware, printers, and other equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Resolve software problems including operating systems such as Windows and macOS, as well as applications like Microsoft Office suite. Assist users with network connectivity issues involving LAN (Local Area Network), Wi-Fi, VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and firewall configurations. Manage help desk tickets efficiently using help desk systems, documenting issues and resolutions clearly for future reference. Support Active Directory management tasks such as user account creation, password resets, and permissions adjustments. Conduct routine maintenance on computer systems and hardware components to optimize performance and security. Collaborate with IT team members to analyze system logs and diagnose complex technical problems involving network troubleshooting or server support (Windows Server, Linux). Assist in implementing IT infrastructure upgrades and security measures to safeguard organizational data. Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users with excellent customer service skills. Qualifications Proven experience in desktop support or IT support roles with a strong understanding of computer networking concepts. Proficiency in supporting Windows operating systems (including Windows 10/11), macOS, and Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with help desk systems for ticket management and tracking issue resolution processes. Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques for equipment repair or replacement. Experience supporting network infrastructure including LAN setup, TCP/IP configuration, DNS management, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols. Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to operating systems and applications effectively. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical problems quickly and accurately. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude that promotes positive user experiences. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are preferred but not required.
