Overview The Senior Application Support Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, administration, and support of enterprise applications. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of critical systems, supports troubleshooting and incident resolution, and contributes to process improvements and documentation. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, experience in banking or financial systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day application support, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues. Administer Windows servers and IIS web servers, including installation, configuration, SSL certificate management, and system upgrades. Support FIS item processing and other banking-related applications. Perform vulnerability remediation, patch management, and system monitoring to ensure secure and stable operations. Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to maintain business continuity. Execute basic to intermediate SQL queries for reporting, diagnostics, and data analysis. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate processes, monitor systems, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with teams to implement new applications, upgrades, and integrations. Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures. Communicate effectively with stakeholders via verbal and written channels, providing updates and technical guidance. Assist in basic network troubleshooting and escalation of complex networking issues as needed. May perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 5 years' experience with Windows server administration and IIS web server management. Familiarity with SSL certificate installation and maintenance. Knowledge of SQL (basic to intermediate) and ability to run queries for troubleshooting and reporting. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and monitoring. Solid understanding of application troubleshooting, system monitoring, and incident management. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls). Experience with vulnerability remediation and IT security best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong documentation skills for processes, procedures, and runbooks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Banking or financial industry experience is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with FIS item processing and other banking applications. Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Experience with enterprise application support in a highly regulated environment. Familiarity with web server optimization and performance tuning. Knowledge of cloud technology (Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop, and AWS). Experience in PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft Update Manager, including installation, patching, upgrades, web servers, application servers, process schedulers, and database components. Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $89,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
