IT Product Specialist Fairfield, CA 7 Months Contract 100% onsite

Role:

IT Product Specialist (NPD Expert Telecom/IP Network Design)

Location & Duration:

Fairfield, CA | 7-month contract

Platform Ownership:

Manage IT Operations Support Systems (OSS) / Telecom Network Portal (TNP) for network planning & design

Gatekeeper Responsibility:

Review and audit Network Resource Process (NRP) submissions for accuracy, completeness, and best practices

Data Governance:

Ensure integrity of network elements (connections, devices, locations, attributes) across integrated systems

Technical Support:

Provide hands-on support to engineers, architects, drafters, technicians ; validate designs and troubleshoot issues

Configuration Management:

Maintain CI (Configuration Item) mapping , policies, discovery & reconciliation accuracy

Network Expertise:

Work on telecom/IP technologies (Microwave, Ethernet, SONET, DWDM) and circuit/connection design

Tools & Systems:

Experience with ServiceNow, OSS tools, Linux/Windows , and protocols ( SNMP, SSH, SQL, WMI, IPsec )

Requirements:

Associate degree (or equivalent), CompTIA Network+ , 4+ years in NOC/IT telecom operations , 1+ year in OSS discovery/modeling
