In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, managing computer systems, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure seamless business operations. Your expertise will help troubleshoot software and hardware issues, support network configurations, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal users. Responsibilities Deliver prompt and effective technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and timely upgrades. Configure and maintain computer networks such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and other security measures to safeguard company data. Troubleshoot software problems using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users. Support the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure components, including operating systems, network devices, and security protocols. Assist users with help desk requests via ticketing systems by providing clear communication and effective solutions. Conduct regular system updates, backups, and security checks to uphold data integrity and protect against cyber threats. Skills Strong knowledge of computer management practices across multiple operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux. Proven experience in providing IT support with excellent customer service skills. Familiarity with computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues related to operating systems and applications like Microsoft Office suite. Experience managing computer hardware components and performing hardware repairs or upgrades. Proficiency with help desk tools such as ServiceNow or Jira for tracking support tickets; BMC Remedy experience is a plus.
