This is a hands-on role focused on testing, cleaning, upgrading, repairing, and preparing laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, and related electronics for resale. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with computers, is detail-oriented, and wants to grow in the IT hardware/refurbishing industry. Duties Test laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, tablets, and computer components. Assist with basic repairs and upgrades including RAM, SSDs, batteries, keyboards, screens, chargers, and covers. Install or image Windows and perform basic driver and BIOS checks. Clean, grade, label, and prepare units for production or shipment. Identify cosmetic and functional issues and report them accurately. Follow company SOPs for auditing, testing, repair, cleaning, and packaging. Keep workstations, tools, and parts organized. Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and more complex repairs. Maintain accurate notes on completed work, failed units, and parts used. Meet daily quality and production goals. Qualifications Basic knowledge of computer hardware, laptops, desktops, and Windows. Some hands-on repair experience preferred, but training may be provided. Ability to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers and pry tools. Comfortable working with small parts and electronic components. Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow step-by-step procedures. Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Pay $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits Paid time off Work Location In person
