Job Description

Immediately need for an IT Support Specialist for a 1 to 2 months coverage. Hourly rate is up to $33/hour depending on experience, on W2 100% on site in Orange, CA Looking for someone with solid level 1 and level 2 support experience
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to employees across all business entities within the organization. Respond to support requests submitted through the IT service desk, phone, email, or other approved support channels. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, printer, peripheral, and mobile device issues. Support Windows and macOS workstations, laptops, and standard business applications. Administer routine Microsoft 365 user support, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications. Perform Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user administration, including account creation, password resets, group membership, and access requests following established procedures. Install, configure, deploy, and maintain company-issued computers and mobile devices. Troubleshoot basic networking issues including Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN access, DNS, DHCP, and remote connectivity. Provide first-level support for enterprise business applications and coordinate escalations when necessary. Document incidents, resolutions, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures within the IT service management system. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment provisioning and account setup. Educate end users on technology best practices, security awareness, and effective use of business applications. Support office moves, workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, and technology rollouts. Participate in IT projects by assisting with deployments, testing, and user acceptance activities as assigned. Maintain accurate inventory records for end-user hardware and assigned equipment. Follow IT security policies and immediately report suspected security incidents or policy violations. Escalate unresolved or advanced technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors while ensuring appropriate documentation and communication.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT Help Desk Support environment. Experience providing both Level 1 and Level 2 technical support. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows. Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Office applications. Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration. Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking. Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader IT team.
Preferred Qualifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications. Experience supporting multiple business locations or multi-company environments. Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, endpoint management, or mobile device management (MDM). Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business applications. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations.
