Type:
full-time Hybrid 2-3 days onsite | San Diego, CA office Job type: Fulltime, direct hire W2 - compensation paid hourly (no visa sponsorships, transfers, or C2C) We're seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Coordinator to provide hands-on technical support in a professional, fast-paced environment. This person will support end users across multiple offices, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage helpdesk requests, and ensure employees have reliable access to the technology they need. The ideal candidate is technically strong, service-oriented, professional, and comfortable supporting a diverse user base where responsiveness, discretion, and clear communication are important.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving desktops, laptops, software, hardware, mobile devices, and phone systems Manage and document support requests through the Helpdesk ticketing system, escalating complex issues as needed Install, configure, and update hardware and software across supported locations Set up PCs, phones, applications, and equipment for new hires, coordinating with internal teams to ensure day-one readiness Provide user support and training across business applications and technology systems Support audio/video and conference room technology Maintain workstation configurations, imaging, deployments, and system documentation Track IT assets and maintain accurate hardware/software inventory Communicate status updates and resolutions to users while managing multiple requests and priorities Identify recurring technical issues and recommend longer-term improvements Provide hands-on IT support to users across multiple office locations
Technical Skills:
Experience with the following: Microsoft Office iManage DMS SQL Server Administration Citrix MetaFrame Server Active Directory / Group Policy Windows Operating Systems Workstation image development and deployment ShoreTel IP Phone System iPhone Enterprise networks and telecommunications Helpdesk ticketing systems Desktop, laptop, hardware, software, and end-user troubleshooting
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience preferred Law firm industry or professional services experience highly preferred but not required 2+ years of IT technical support / Helpdesk experience Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills Experience providing hands-on end-user support Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Able to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment MCP professional qualification preferred Knowledge of networks and telecoms preferred
