Description Desktop Support Technician
II - A/V
& Conference Room Technology Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Technician with Audio/Visual (A/V) experience to support a large-scale conference room technology refresh initiative. This role will focus on replacing existing Zoom Room equipment with new Logitech conferencing solutions across multiple meeting spaces while providing desktop support and end-user assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience with conference room technologies, hardware installations, troubleshooting A/V equipment, and supporting end users in a corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Replace and deploy new Logitech conference room equipment in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces. Decommission existing Zoom Room hardware and ensure proper inventory tracking and disposal procedures. Install, configure, and test Logitech conference room solutions including cameras, microphones, speakers, touch panels, and related peripherals. Troubleshoot A/V, conferencing, and collaboration platform issues. Provide white-glove support to executives, leadership teams, and end users during conference room cutovers. Perform desktop support activities including hardware deployment, software installation, imaging, and troubleshooting. Support Windows workstations, laptops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals. Document room configurations, installation procedures, and support processes. Coordinate with IT infrastructure, networking, and facilities teams during deployments. Ensure conference rooms are fully operational and validated prior to business use. Maintain asset management records and deployment documentation. Required Qualifications 3+ years of Desktop Support or End User Support experience. 2+ years of Audio/Visual (A/V) or Conference Room Technology experience.
Experience supporting and troubleshooting:
Zoom Rooms Logitech conferencing hardware Conference room cameras, microphones, speakers, and touch controllers Experience with Windows 10/11 environments. Strong hardware deployment and installation experience. Knowledge of network connectivity, USB peripherals, and conferencing technologies. Ability to read installation guides and follow deployment standards. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Logitech Rally, Rally Bar, Tap Controller, MeetUp, or similar Logitech collaboration solutions. Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms. Familiarity with Crestron, Poly, Cisco Webex, or other enterprise A/V technologies. CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications. Experience working on enterprise-wide refresh or migration projects. Customer-focused with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. Experience participating in room modernization, conference room upgrades, or collaboration technology refresh projects. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
