This role is ideal for someone with hands-on cabling experience pulling Cat5 and Cat6 who can assist with installation tasks, equipment handling, and site readiness in an active construction or renovation setting. The technician will work alongside an onsite lead resource to help complete network refresh activities efficiently and safely. This opportunity may also lead to additional project-based assignments for strong performers.

Responsibilities:

Support the onsite lead technician with network refresh activities at the customer location. Install, route, and organize low-voltage and network cabling in accordance with site requirements. Perform cable terminations, punch-down work, and other basic connectivity tasks as directed. Assist with equipment staging, material tracking, and inventory organization throughout the project. Work effectively during overnight shifts and maintain productivity in a fast-paced field environment. Follow site safety expectations and wear appropriate protective gear for a construction-style workspace. Use personal basic hand tools to complete assigned installation and support tasks. Coordinate with onsite personnel to ensure smooth access and timely completion of project work. Must have experience pulling Cat5 and Cat6 cables. Practical experience with network cabling, cable installation, and low-voltage infrastructure work. Ability to complete cable terminations and punch-down tasks with accuracy and consistency. Comfortable working onsite in remodel, renovation, or construction-type environments. Must supply basic hand tools, including a power drill, screwdriver, and safety vest. Availability to support overnight project work as needed. Familiarity with fiber-optic cabling is preferred. Strong dependability, responsiveness, and ability to follow direction from an onsite lead technician.
