Job Description

Job Overview Great local startup in Santa Cruz looking for a Technical Support Manager to manage a team of 8 technicians, and oversee all aspects of safety and security operations. This role reports directly to the CEO, and is considered part of the leadership team. Along with the base salary, equity and profit-sharing are also part of the total compensation package. Responsibilities
    People & Culture:
    Lead and grow a team of 8, scaling to 25 by 2028. Own hiring, scheduling, coaching, and performance. Build future leaders while protecting a strong culture of trust and camaraderie.
      Operations & Process:
      Build and refine SOPs, checklists, and workflows that actually work. Improve consistency, and define and report meaningful performance metrics.
        Technology & Analytics:
        Optimize AI analytics tools. Work with engineering to improve performance and provide real-world feedback on system design.
          Service Performance:
          Own service quality across 120+ customers, 2,000 cameras and 250,000 alerts every month. Align what we sell with what we execute exceptionally well, and proactively fix weaknesses. Qualifications Experience managing/providing oversight to teams, preferably in IT or technolgy-adjacent environments Strong knowledge of technology, and fluent in navigating various applications and platforms. Effective leadership skills with the capacity to train and motivate teams. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism .
