ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Principal Product Support Analyst / Technical Writ er to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located in Santa Maria, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
Write, edit, and maintain user guides, Technical Orders and Contractor Furnished Equipment Notice (CFEN), following MIL-STD and MIL-PRF requirements. Conduct technical data updates for Technical Orders (TOs), Work Unit Codes (WUCs), engineering drawings, and other controlled documents. Generate, upload, and maintain technical data using Windchill and related data management systems. Experience with product structures, engineering documentation, and sustainment engineering activities. Translate complex engineering data into clear, concise instructions for operational personnel. Coordinate peer reviews and validation/verification events with stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's and ten (10) years or more of related experience; master's and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience Working in Adobe FrameMaker. Experience delivering multiple simultaneous modernization initiatives. Demonstrated proficiency in communicating with customers to fully understand operational requirements; and in translating those requirements into project plans and performance measures. Familiarity with mission-critical, data network operations, maintenance, and sustainment. Must have secret clearance Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
