Onsite Job Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite IT infrastructure and end-user support . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in hardware/software troubleshooting, desk-side support, and network fundamentals , along with excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Provide desk-side support and PC break/fix services Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Perform desktop imaging and application installation Provide smart hands support for IT and networking equipment Troubleshoot network connectivity and cabling issues Support LAN/WAN environments and basic networking tasks Manage and resolve incidents using ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy) Perform root cause analysis and problem management Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting SLA requirements Technical Requirements Minimum 3+ years of IT infrastructure field support experience Strong knowledge of:TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP
Windows OS (Mac/Linux preferred) Experience with: Desktop imaging and application support Printer and peripheral troubleshooting Network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) Ability to handle hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Experience with end-user network cabling issues Smart Hands Support Hands-on support for: Monitors, keyboards, mice Printers, scanners, fax machines Routers, switches, firewalls Racks, cabinets, and patch panels Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree in Electronics or related field CompTIA A+ Certification (preferred) Vendor certifications (Dell, Lenovo, etc.) are a plus Non-Technical Skills Strong communication and customer handling skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proactive, result-oriented mindset Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Additional Requirements Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs Flexible to work varied schedules if requiredPay:
