Job Description

We take pride in transporting mail safely and on time—and we're looking for an IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist provides day-to-day technical support and maintains company technology systems. This role supports employees with hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring systems, equipment, and workflows operate efficiently.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

End User Support:
Provide technical support (phone, remote, in person). Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Train employees on systems and equipment. Set up new employees (devices, accounts, access). Manage offboarding (equipment return, access removal, data backup). Hardware & Device Management Maintain and repair computers, mobile devices, and equipment. Replace or upgrade equipment as needed. Monitor performance of all IT equipment. Manage mobile devices using Samsung Knox. Network Administration Maintain and monitor network performance and uptime. Perform updates, configurations, and trouble shooting. Configure network hardware (HPE Aruba Instant On) Resolve connectivity issues Infrastructure & Cabling Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs. Install and maintain Ethernet cabling (Cat6, patch panels, jacks). Deploy and maintain network equipment (switches, access points). Systems & Software Maintain internal systems and workflows. Troubleshoot enterprise software (logistics, VOIP). Monitor systems and implement improvements. Support VOIP systems. Microsoft & Identity Management Manage Microsoft 365 (Admin Center, Azure/Entra). Administer user access, permissions, and licenses. Maintain secure identity and access controls. Cybersecurity Monitor security systems and respond to threats. Maintain antivirus and endpoint protection. Identify and resolve security risks. Apply security best practices. Fleet & Logistics Technology Support logistics systems (FourKites, USPS, TMS). Maintain Samsara platforms (apps, dashboard, hardware). Install/troubleshoot GPS, cameras, asset trackers. Web & Development Support Maintain internal/external web tools and integrations. Support automation (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Power Automate). Use version control (GitHub) and cloud services (Cloudflare). Documentation & Process Improvement Document systems, issues, and workflows. Maintain IT procedures and configurations. Improve processes and system efficiency. Software Support Support Adobe Acrobat and business applications. Other Occasional travel to offsite locations.
