This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting their IT career who wants hands-on experience with systems administration, networking, user support, and day‑to‑day IT operations. You'll work closely with the IT Manager to ensure smooth technology operations across the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line support for end users via phone, email, and ticketing system Troubleshoot issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and common business applications Assist in user onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, hardware setup, and permissions Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, imaging devices, and monitoring system health Help maintain IT inventory, including tracking hardware, accessories, and software licenses Support basic network tasks such as checking connectivity issues, verifying cabling, and assisting with Wi-Fi troubleshooting Document common issues, solutions, and processes to build internal knowledge resources Assist with system administration tasks under guidance (Active Directory, O365 admin, security reviews, backups, etc.) Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager when necessary Required Skills & Qualifications Foundational understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software problems Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users Eagerness to learn and grow within an IT organization Strong problem-solving, organization, and follow-through skills Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems Exposure to Active Directory, Office 365 Admin Portal, or similar tools Basic experience with routers, switches, and firewalls Any IT certification (A+, Network+, CCNA, etc.) Work Environment & Expectations On-site support role working alongside the IT Manager Ability to lift and move equipment (PCs, monitors, etc.) as needed Occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance windows
