In this role you will:
- Drive software development & integration
- Oversee flight software development, integration, and verification activities, ensuring deliverables meet technical, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Own the integrated software program plan
- Develop, maintain, and regularly baseline the IPT-wide schedule, cost baseline, and performance target documents; track earned-value, forecast variances, and drive corrective actions to keep the program on-track.
- Collaborate with other Program IPTs
- Act as the primary liaison between the Software IPT and Systems, Test, Hardware, and Mission-Level IPTs; align milestone dates, data-exchange interfaces, and resource commitments across the full program architecture.
- Work with software functional leadership to establish demand for program efforts and assist in staffing planning activities
- Conduct trade studies, risk analyses, and mitigation planning to protect schedule and budget health.
Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Flight Software or embedded software for satellite, or product development programs.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner and/or software lead
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Previous experience in an Agile software program with Program Increment Planning, Scrum, and Sprint Planning across multiple software components/teams
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Strong communication and cross organization capabilities to work with all Program IPT teams
- Previous experience with proposals and basis of estimates
- Previous experience with building agile release schedules and conducting program increment planning events

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200- $192,510.
