This energetic role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in troubleshooting and restoring consumer electronics, including desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, and other peripherals. Whether working in the field or supporting customers in-store, you'll play a vital role in ensuring equipment functions flawlessly and meets high standards of quality. Duties Perform hardware diagnostics and repairs on desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, and consumer electronics using hand tools and schematics. Troubleshoot software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS to resolve technical problems efficiently. Conduct electrical soldering and hardware maintenance to repair or replace damaged components on various electronic devices. Provide technical troubleshooting support for mobile phones, tablets, smart devices, and other personal electronics to restore optimal performance. Utilize analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware failures or software malfunctions through detailed diagnostics. Assist customers with technical support inquiries related to operating systems, device setup, or troubleshooting mobile devices and peripherals. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures while adhering to safety protocols during equipment repair or soldering tasks. Experience Proven experience in computer hardware repair, including desktop computer troubleshooting and component replacement. Hands-on knowledge of mobile device repair for smartphones (Android & iOS) and tablets. Familiarity with consumer electronics repair such as printers, copiers, and smart home devices. Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS) along with software troubleshooting skills. Experience using schematics for circuit analysis and performing electrical soldering or hardware maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Ability to work independently in field service environments or within retail settings while managing multiple repair requests efficiently. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per week
