Job Description Work Type:
Full-time, On-Site About Us:
We are a fast-growing MSP that partners with small- mid- large sized businesses to provide managed IT services, security, cloud and infrastructure support. We're looking for a highly skilled engineer who can join our team on-site and act as a senior technical resource.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as escalation point for complex technical issues (servers, network, cloud, security) coming from Tier 1/2 teams. Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud (Azure, AWS).
Manage and configure network infrastructure:
firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, VPNs. Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 / Office 365, hybrid cloud solutions, backup/disaster recovery technologies. Create documentation, best practices, and knowledge-base articles; mentor junior technicians. Work directly with clients (onsite) when required: site surveys, project design, pre-/post-sales technical support.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
5+ years of experience in IT support/engineering within an MSP environment. Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper-V/VMware, Azure or AWS. Network & security experience: firewalls, switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs. Experience with RMM/PSA tools (e.g., Kaseya, Autotask, Datto) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, documentation and communication skills (client-facing). Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft, Cisco are preferred. Must be able to work onsite (local candidates only).
